DWI & DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID - DISMISSED

Client admitted to drinking at two different locations and exhibited several clues of intoxication on SFSTs. Client was arrested for misdemeanor 1st DWI and Driving While License Invalid. BOTH OFFENSES WERE DISMISSED.

DWI DISMISSED

Client was initially pulled over for a taillight out. Upon the officer's initial encounter with my Client, the officer believed he presented with signs of intoxications and was arrested for misdemeanor 1st DWI with a Blood Alcohol Content allegedly at .158. CASE WAS DISMISSED.

DWI - DISMISSED

My Client was pulled over for speeding and arrested for misdemeanor DWI. DWI WAS DISMISSED and my client pled guilty to Reckless Driving with one year deferred. I filed a motion for early termination of the deferred period which was granted by the Court, releasing my Client nine (9) months early. A Non-Disclosure has been granted sealing the Reckless Driving offense.

DWI WITH OPEN CONTAINER - CASE DISMISSED

A 911 call was made claiming my Client, a career military veteran, was observed swerving lane to lane on the highway, nearly striking several vehicles. Client was pulled over by police with several open containers of alcoholic beverages in plain view within the vehicle. Police claimed Client was consuming alcohol and taking anti-anxiety and muscle relaxer medication. Police claim that Client performed poorly on all field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI with Open Container. The case was DISMISSED and the Client's career restored.

RACING ON HIGHWAY - CHARGE DISMISSED

Client was arrested for misdemeanor Racing on Highway. The charge was DISMISSED and refiled as misdemeanor class "C" speeding violation.

FAMILY VIOLENCE - CASE DISMISSED

My Client and his spouse allegedly were involved in an altercation wherein my Client was accused of hitting his spouse in the mouth with a closed fist as well as hitting her chest with a closed fist wherein she required medical attention due to difficulty breathing and a contusion to her lip. My Client was arrest for assault – family violence. CASE WAS DISMISSED.

A struggling college student working as a bartender was arrested for misdemeanor Selling Alcohol to a Minor. CASE DISMISSED.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION - DISMISSED

A young adult was charged with misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. CASE DISMISSED.

FAMILY VIOLENCE - DISMISSED

Client was arrested for misdemeanor Assault – Family Violence. Police allegedly observed Client assaulting the spouse. CASE DISMISSED.

2ND DWI WITH OPEN CONTAINER - NOT GUILTY

Client was pulled over after being observed changing from one lane to another without a signal and then continuing to cross lane markers as well as almost hitting a curb. Client alleged to have performed poorly on SFSTs and was arrested for misdemeanor 2nd DWI with Open Container. The case proceeded to trial and the jury found my Client NOT GUILTY. Case was expunged and my Client's career was saved.

ALL 7 CASES DISMISSED & EXPUNGED

Client had seven (7) class C misdemeanor offenses over an eight year period, including MIP, Criminal Mischief, Speeding, Possession of Fictitious ID, and Public Intoxication. ALL CASES WERE DISMISSED and my Client expunged all of the offenses from his criminal record.

My Client was initially pulled over for speeding and no license plate light. My Client was asked to perform SFSTs of which he performed one test and refused to continue with the rest. My Client was arrested for misdemeanor 1st Driving While Intoxicated With an Open Alcoholic Container. CASE WAS DISMISSED.

MISDEMEANOR ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE - DISMISSED

Client was arrested for misdemeanor Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle that resulted in at least $200 worth of damage to another vehicle. CASE DISMISSED.

MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION - CASE DISMISSED

A confidential informant notified law enforcement of large amounts of marijuana allegedly located at my Client's residence. Law enforcement breached the residence and discovered what they claimed to be stolen guns, scales, packing supplies, and approximately 388 lbs. of marijuana. CASE WAS DISMISSED.

BWI - CASE DISMISSED

While boating, my Client was initially stopped for a minor not wearing a floatation device. The officer indicated he could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from my Client. The officer then conducted SFSTs (Standardized Field Sobriety Tests) in which my Client allegedly did poorly on all as well as allegedly had a BAC of .133. He was arrested for misdemeanor BWI. I was able to get my Client's CASE DISMISSED and he is now eligible for an expunction.

DWI WITH OPEN CONTAINER - DISMISSED

My Client was observed traveling with a defective brake lamp. Upon the traffic stop, the officer could smell and odor of an alcoholic beverage on my Client's breath as well as the officer observed a cup of whiskey in the cup holder. The officer performed SFSTs in which my Client was allegedly observed having several clues of intoxication. My Client was arrested for misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated with and Open Container. My Client's CASE WAS DISMISSED and he is now eligible for an expunction.

FELONY ASSAULT - NO CONVICTION, NO PRISON

I represented a client whose previous attorney could only get a five-year prison offer on a felony assault case with a prior assault (family violence) conviction. I negotiated deferred adjudication, which means that there was no felony conviction, and no jail/prison time.

DWI - NOT GUILTY & EXPUNGED

My client was allegedly driving 85 mph on I 45 late at night. He had visited multiple bars with three friends when he was stopped by an aggressive, veteran law enforcement officer. The Officer arrested my client and even threatened to arrest the passengers for public intoxication. The Officer claimed my client failed field sobriety tests. After a hard fought three day trial, the jury ensured justice was done and found my client NOT GUILTY. The acquittal and subsequent expunction solidified that my client's current and future career path was preserved.

FAMILY VIOLENCE - NOT GUILTY & EXPUNGED

My client was falsely accused of assaulting his wife in front of his young children. Several law enforcement officers arrived on scene and arrested him. His wife subsequently filed for divorce and sued him civilly. After an extremely aggressive, four day trial with sixteen witnesses, the majority called by us, the jury ensured justice was done and returned in twenty minutes with a NOT GUILTY verdict. The acquittal and subsequent expunction changed the course of the family law case and gave my client his life, career and children back.

DWI - NOT GUILTY

A young man was referred to me by a local law enforcement officer. My client had left a party, late at night, after playing several rounds of beer pong. He was allegedly stopped for speeding, driving recklessly and running a red light. Police discovered two beer cans by the tire of the car as they walked up to the vehicle. The Officer conducted a body search, also known as a "Terry" frisk, before any investigation ever took place. The police officer testified that my client failed the field sobriety tests. After a scathing cross examination, the jury agreed my client did not receive a fair shake and found my client NOT GUILTY.

DWI ACCIDENT - DISMISSED & EXPUNGED

My client was accused of being involved in a major, single-car accident. When EMS arrived, the client's leg was sticking through the floor board of his car. He was transported to the hospital via ambulance. Blood results showed he had a BAC of 0.186, more than twice the legal limit. My client left the hospital against medical advice and a warrant was eventually issued for his arrest. After one day of trial, the State offered a special deal that would allow the case to be dismissed and expunged.

DWI - CASE DISMISSED

My client was allegedly involved in an accident where she drove through a yard, struck a parked car, and eventually crashed into the homeowner's tree. The client destroyed her car and narrowly missed driving into the house. My client was given field sobriety tests at the scene and then transported to the hospital to have her blood drawn. The blood results came back a 0.22 BAC, almost three times the legal limit. After one day of trial, the State DISMISSED the case and re-filed it as an obstruction of highway. My client paid a fine only.

DWI - NOT GUILTY

My client left a bar and on the way home stopped at a pharmacy. While purportedly attempting to pull into a parking space, he struck an unattended, parked vehicle. Several witnesses observed the accident and testified at trial that they believed my client was intoxicated. One eye witness stated he observed him strike the parked car twice. The police officers testified that my client was so intoxicated he had to hold onto a pillar for support and had slurred, unintelligible speech. On video, he performed poorly on the field sobriety tests by allegedly exhibiting all possible clues of intoxication. We brought forth testimony of my client's medical and dental history to contradict the State's assertions. After three intense days of trial, the jury sent my client back to his family NOT GUILTY.

CASE DISMISSED & EXPUNGED

My client was driving on interstate 45 when callers reported to 911 that he was weaving in and out of his lane. The witnesses testified at trial they observed my client almost strike two barricades and run vehicles off the road. During trial we filed a motion to suppress based on an illegal stop. The judge granted the motion. With no evidence left to present, the State was forced to DISMISS case. The dismissal and subsequent expunction allowed my client to continue his career in the oil and gas industry.

DWI - DISMISSED

Law enforcement was called to the scene of motor vehicle accident, where my client had allegedly run off the roadway and struck a fence. Officers found my client asleep behind the wheel with the car in gear. Officers on scene found two cases of empty beer in the back seat as well as one empty can behind the driver's seat. Officers testified that he failed the field sobriety tests. After one day of trial, the State DISMISSEDthe case and re-filed it as Reckless Driving.

DWI - DISMISSED

My client was stopped on a highway for allegedly speeding at 4:45 a.m. Once stopped, officers claimed they smelled alcohol and had my client exit his vehicle. The officers observed vomit covering his body and the cab of the truck. Officers also observed fresh damage to the front and both sides of the truck which the State alleged was caused while he was driving while intoxicated. My client admitted to consuming six to seven beers and two shots. He consented to taking the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus field sobriety test, but refused to do the nine step walk and turn and the one leg stand. My client was subsequently arrested and during the search of the truck, officers found an ice chest full of beer. After one day of trial, the State DISMISSED the case and re-filed it as an obstruction of highway.

DWI - NOT GUILTY

Successfully defended client charged with Driving While Intoxicated with blood test of 0.11. The jury rendered a unanimous verdict of NOT GUILTY.

DWI - NOT GUILTY

Successfully defended client charged with Driving While Intoxicated with breath test of 0.176. The jury rendered a unanimous verdict of NOT GUILTY.

DWI - NOT GUILTY

Successfully defended client charged with Driving While Intoxicated while traveling at 110-120 miles per hour, running a red light and squealing tires while turning at an intersection. The jury rendered a unanimous verdict of NOT GUILTY.

COCAINE CHARGE - DISMISSED

My client was at a cantina/bar when two undercover narcotics officers arrived to make buys. Upon receiving the signal by the undercover officers, a SWAT team entered the bar brandishing AR15 guns. At trial, the narcotics officers alleged they saw my client drop a baggie of cocaine. The officer testified that he watched him drop the bag and that he never took his eyes off of him. The officer took the bag as evidence and arrested my client at the scene. After a two day felony trial the jury hung 10 to 2 for NOT GUILTY. The State subsequently DISMISSEDthe case and my client went home a free man.

DWI ACCIDENT - NOT GUILTY

Successfully defended client charged with Driving While Intoxicated, causing a car accident. My client was at fault for the accident and the government called citizens and DPS troopers to the stand to testify. After cross examining the citizen witness, other citizen witnesses told the assistant district attorney they would not testify if they were going to be cross examined by me. The jury rendered a unanimous verdict ofNOT GUILTY.

ENHANCED FELONY DWI - DISMISSED

Obtained DISMISSAL of enhanced felony Driving While Intoxicated case where client faced a minimum of 25 years to Life sentence if convicted. This major victory which literally saved my clients life was accomplished by highlighting the illegal and unconstitutional stop of my client along with prejudicial statements by the law enforcement officer.

DWI - DISMISSED

Obtained DISMISSAL from the Judge of my client’s Driving While Intoxicated case with a breath test of 0.14 after a jury was empanelled. My client then became eligible to expunge the DWI from his criminal history and retain a clean record.
